Purpose of the Role
To lead the optimisation of our sales processes and support our sales team in delivering exceptional customer service while achieving revenue targets.
Key responsbilities & Accountabilities
Marketing & Lead Generation
Implement the marketing strategy and drive an increase in lead generation through the corporate website, social media and other networking opportunities.
Ensure all leads created are recorded accurately and timely within the CRM system.
Sales Process Management:
Develop with the Managing Director an efficient end-to-end sales processes that result in a high conversion rate from lead generation.
CRM Management:
Own and manage the full administration of the CRM system to track leads from the various marketing channels, all customer interactions, and sales conversion activities.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency within the CRM and other sales tools.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
Create and maintain key sales metrics (e.g., conversion rates, deal velocity) and provie reports reports on sales performance.
Prepare detailed monthly sales reports for the Board, including breakdowns by service (general transportation, e-commerce, pallet network, warehousing).
Team Coordination:
Act as the key collaborator between the sales team and other departments (operations, finance, legal etc.).
Support the sales team by identifying process improvements that reduce administrative tasks and increase focus on selling.
Sales Operations Support:
Assist with onboarding new sales representatives, providing training on the CRM and processes.
Client Satisfaction & Service Delivery:
Ensure smooth handover of sales to operations for service delivery, ensuring customer requirements are clearly communicated and met.
Canvas regular client feedback and work with the sales team to address any service concerns, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
Drive improvements in the NPS and other feedback metrics.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to improve sales workflows through automation and process changes.
Ensure that all sales processes are well-documented and regularly updated.

Based at Head Office, but the position holds a Group level remit.
